Don t be too hard on yourself hun. Just find something that works for you and that you can comfortably stick to that fits in with your lifestyle.
My goal is to only lose 1lb per week and sometimes I even stay the same but thats ok I know I wont fall off the wagon because my cals arnt too low so its something I can stick to long term, even though now Im getting impatient and want the weight to come off quicker but I know if I try and cut more cals Ill just end up giving up altogether as Ill feel deprived.
Try making small changes, like substituting butter for low fat or less of something, whatever works for you.
Id also say dont weight yourself too often as staying the same or gaining can make you give up altogether even though it will prob be water weight and not a fat gain.
