I suspect a UTI....should I postpone TTC until it's cleared?

I have an appointment to see my doctor next week, but my ovulation date is over the weekend....

I'm not keen on taking meds during early pregnancy. Having said that, I am 39 and probably not a good idea to wait either...

Does anyone here know about the risks involved in TTC whilst with a UTI?

Been there done that, doc gave me pregnancy friendly antibiotics.
Really though for it to clear up properly you should refrain from having sex til you've got the all clear, so bit hard to ttc really lol

I'm not sure where you are, but in the US they have urgent care/walk-in clinics and I always just go see the same one for utis. That way there is no worrying about possible kidney damage. Just ask for pregnancy safe ones and I don't have sex when I have a uti due to discomfort, possibility of worsening things, and having to pee every half hour since you should hydrate. Your call though.

Might have just been coincidence but I got a UTI right about the time I got pregnant with DS Maybe...........fingers xed for ya hun
