My little girl just turned 16 months old on Nov 10th and she feeds less and less all the time. I went back to work in July, so she's been cut down to only 2-3 feeds (morning and then at night). For the past 2 weeks she will only feed for about 10 seconds before getting bored with it and wanting down to play.
I was really hoping to make it to at least a year 1/2, but I'm extremely proud that we made it to 16 months. I struggled a lot in the beginning with a low milk supply and almost gave up.
I'm hoping my second baby goes for over a year too
Just makes me sad, it's another sign that my baby is growing up.
