I'm going to my first midwife appt tomorrow. Due DEC 25th. At least that's what the e.r. doctor tells me. I have been having some cramping and sharp pains off and on since I ovulated. So I've had several trips to the hospital. I'm nervous. I would love to join this forum if you ladies will have me?

Of course! Welcome! There aren't a ton of us, but we're friendly. I'm sorry to hear about the cramps. They are usually completely normal in early pregnancy. I had them almost constantly from around ovulation till well into my second tri. Not pleasant and sometimes worrisome, but nothing serious (generally unless accompanied by other things like passing tissue or large amounts of blood). And it's completely natural to be nervous too. Pregnancy brings with it a lot of newness and uncertainty all at once. I wish you a happy and healthy one.

Thanks try! I just had my first midwife appointment, it went great they said my bloods were great and I'm due DEC 25th. I'm going in for materni21 testing the 27th. I don't think I'm too worried about that though. At least not right now I'm not.
