IB or period?

Hello,
I am a little confused. I began spotting VERY lightly on August 6. The blood was very light pink and only there on occasion when I wiped. It has continued like that up until today(Aug 9). Today I am bleeding a little heavier, but not like I normally do. I did take a hpt on Aug. 8 and it was negative. My periods are usually quite heavy and I have never experienced anything like this before. Any input? Is there a possibility of pregnancy?

I'm having almost the same thing going on. Except today is the only day I've spotted at all and I'm already two days past when I should of started. According to all the stuff I've read yes, there is a possibility you are pregnant. Everyone says to wait a week and take a test at home. Or go to the doctor for a blood test. So hard being patient though. Good luck!
