i took test last night and got a very faint positive and (i had a D&C on 14th of august) i never had my hcg levels checked after my D&C but i was using OPK and i had 3 days with i wasnt ovualting(sex just for fun) the day 4-9 my OPK kept showing peak fertility than i tested and got my very faint +. So i had a blood test to measure my HCG levels and they are at 26 but i have to go back in 48 hrs to see if they are doubling or not! has anyone gone throught this before??? im excited that i could possible be expecting but im also terrified as well

It really depends upon how long it takes for your hormones to go down. With my first D&C I hormone levels went down right away within a week. With my second D&C I took an hpt about 4 weeks later and was surprised to find that it was still positive! I went to the doctor and they drew blood. My levels were at 56 when I went the first time and dropped to 43 when I went back 3 days later. They were going down but slowly. I would go to the doctor if I were you to have bloods taken. The only real way you will know is if at the second draw they went up or down. Good luck!

Would my OPK show that i was not ovulating at all cuz i had a few days that it showed sex was for fun if my levels hadnt gone down?

So in about an hr i go get my blood drawn again im really not hopefull at this point cuz i took another pregnancy test over the weekend and it was really still very light. I would love to be pregnant but i dont think i am im more disappointed than i thought i would be but i guess as soon as AF gets here we can start TTC again

You never know. Those tests don't get much darker in only a couple days time. See what the blood shows. If not, there's always next month and we'll be right here with you!

so i got my results back they went down from 26 to 20 they are dropping so slow it sucks

Thank you im hoping they start to come down soon it frustrating that i wasnt having my HCG levels checked in the first place
