It's not over yet but it feels like it is for me. BFN today at 10dp3dt. the test says 87% accurate 4 days before AF due so I think it's over for me. Gutted.

Anyway I've been looking at dates as to when I could have it again and I got major work commitments this summer. I really need to start again as soon as AF arrives that would work perfectly. If I have to wait for a fresh natural AF it will make it impossible with work. Do you think there's any chance they'll allow me to do this? Unless they change the protocol I'm stuck waiting. Ugh. I feel fine in terms of my body. I bet they'll say to wait 2 or 3 months in that case and then i think I will break down!

Does anyone have any insight?

thanks :)

I was told with the first IVF that we would have to have a new cycle and then could try again on the second cycle.

This time i have had an unmedicated/natural FET so I am able to start a new protocol because I have not been taking the drugs. I think they ask for you to miss a cycle to give your body a break, things to go back to normal and the drugs to be completely flushed out of your system. Personally i would do this anyway hun cos the stress that your body has been through with all the drugs would have caused a big impact on your insides and you need to let them rest and get back to normal before you send your body through all that again. You might feel ok but it really does take its toll on things.

Every hospital is different, some say 2 cycles, some say one, others 3 ive heard so its best to find out from your hospital.

Best of luck hun, i know the waiting is a killer and we have to miss a cycle if this IVF doesnt work but im going to take a 2-3 month break after this one cos even though FET does not stress your system, with an IVF on top its not wise not to let my system cool down for a while, to give us the best chances on our final go. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Each time I have had to have the bleed of the failed cycle, and another normal cycle, and I have started down regging on that cycle. With the fresh cycle they wanted me to wait another cycle but I persuaded them to let me start earlier, and just had to have a scan to check my ovaries were recovered.

So, its like about 7-8 weeks from failed cycle to first sniff. Some clinics are different though and let you start sooner.

You are still in with a chance mummy. Its not failed until AF shows :hugs:

I think it all depends on your clinic. Ours wants you to wait three cycles. Others are less than that. Sorry it didn't work this time. Sucks terribly.

 great more waiting then

Thanks for your response :) least I know now will check with my clinic on thurs on my OTD.

Your OTD's not til thus mummy?! You still in with a chance then :happydance: Loads of lucky :dust: to you, theres still time for you to get your lines

no not until this thurs but at 10dp3dt with a sensitivity test of 10mi it didnt come back with any sort of line. i pray it will change but i cant imagine i will. the test said its 87% accurate so it just seems very unlikely.

Thanks for your PMA though :)

i hope you can start soon caline, I have been following your progress and hope you get your bfp which you so deserve xxx
