if your waters were leaking would it be constant? :S

Hi girls,for a couple of days now whenever I get a braxton hick the pressure is really intense in my pelvis and occasionally I feel a little 'spurt' down there tbh i dont really know what it is,I do have a LOT of discharge but Ive had that for weeks now and keep getting recurrent thrush.
Sometimes I think ooooh is that my waters leaking?but surely if it was it would be a constant thing rather than the occasional trickle?

with my 1st LO my waters trickled all of a sudden after I went to the loo in the middle of the night then didnt stop until he was born 3days later.It was obvious it was the fluid where as now its

My midwife says you will def know it is waters as it increases when you lie down.... apparently baby's head acts as a plug when you are standing!!! And it smells really sweet....?

Smell it. Amniotic fluid shouldnt smell of anything, and if it were piddle you'd smell piddle.

Mine started leaking slowly on the Friday and I thought I had weed and on the sat they gushed, get it checked if your not sure because of the risk of infection x

mine alternated between dripdrop trickles and nothing. I had the massive gush thing twice.

try sitting on the toilet and listen or look for drips/trickles for a little while...
As said above it should be clear, mine had no smell.

If you really think its your waters, you could go to the hospital. They would then try to collect some of the fluid and test if its amniotic fluid.
