I had a Keep In Touch day at work yesterday as we've implemented a new system so I wanted training on it. Apart from missing the boys like mad, I had a really good day and it was great to get some adult company.
I also sorted out with my team leader and payroll when I'm going back. I only work 3 days a week (Mon, Tues and Fri). My SMP finishes 20th November and we can't afford for me to not get paid anything, so I will be starting back work on the Monday 23rd November. But I still have 10 days holiday to take before the end of the year, so I'm taking 3 weeks straight away which takes me up to the 14th December. Then I'm in work for 3 days that week, then 2 days the following week (as it's Xmas week!!), and then I've took another days holiday on the 29th so I can have the whole of Xmas and go back in on Monday 4th January 2010!
It also means I'll get a full months pay the week before Xmas and not stupid SMP!!!
