I'm having my baby on 8th July!!

Just back from consultants appointment.

I had decided after doing alot of research over the last few months that I wanted another section. They could see I was making an informed decision rather than an uneducated one, and so booked me in there and then!

Ha how funny! thanks ladies. Really does feel like a countdown beginning. Successful VBAC rate was only 63% in this area, although that was more than half, it wasn't enough for me, so when she told me that figure it made the decision for me.

That's a real low vbac rate! I'm wondering with the next baby (if we're blessed enough) whether to try vbac but I'm leaning towards another section after a non progressive labour.

They said the average was 60-70% nationally, so I guess they have had an 'unlucky' couple of years. If i happen to go into labour before 8th july then I still have the choice. xx

Glad you're going with what is comfortable for your. VBAC is definitely not for everyone Good luck!
