Thanks for all your advice, I talked to my mom tonight & asked her if we could do a bbq instead. That way the men are more inclined to come. My OH is upset he can't be there (someone has to stay & work at our store) but it makes me happier

That sounds like fun! With my shower, we had a picnic, and the guys just sort of made themselves scare when the shower games were going on (they all seemed to become very interested in a game of horseshoes at that moment), but all of them came back for the cake part. I hope your day goes great.

I never had a coed shower but I'd be upset if I did have one and my family didn't go. My dad didn't even come to my wedding so I would just expect that out of my dad but I don't know your situation. My husband was always present at all my showers anyway as he didn't want to leave the house where we had it. GL
