Im not going to make it to full term

Ive had an appointment today because ive been getting symptoms of preterm labor, its not urgent as im not getting contractions just the other symptoms so nothing is going to happen yet (fingers crossed).

But although im measuring small, the twins are mesuring around 31 weeks.
I just want to make sure i make it to 36 weeks and i hope they dont grow too big


Atleast they are healthy though all those months of me worrying because im measuring behind and they are comming on leaps and bounds.
Its strange how your body works, i have grown some more though so im happy enough

Thanks hun i really hope that too i want them to atleast get to the point where their lungs are more or less developed. I know they can do alot today to help them but i would prefer to give birth to healthy babies and be able to take them home with me.
I hate the feeling of nurses having to take care of my babies.

Cramps and alot of aches in my back and like period pains also been getting loose BMs
and slight spotting, i havent gained alot of weight either which they say is worrying because it can be part of the cause for preterm labour and the fact im having twins also increses the chance. But no contractions yet so thats a good thing and ive been getting more regular BHs.

Is your cervix changing? All the symptoms you are having are also just normal third tri symptoms. I think you are safe until you start having true contractions. Most doctors only get concerned about preterm labor when your cervix changes.

its great that they are measuring ahead sounds like they know they need to grow quicker!! sounds like they are getting plenty of food in their and are very happy !! hope they stay in a bit longer for you im sure they will x

I have a follow up apointment next week and they will check things over but they have talked to me about the possibilities of different things they may need to give me

No matter what happens, you're at a good gestation so they should be fine, i have every faith! If you have any worries you can pop a question in the premature or twins section xxxxxxxxx

ah sounds like all good news then hun! i totally understand the worrisome mind tho, with all you've been thru, it's perfectly natural.... like you said, best to start taking things even easier now and have some good mama-baba chats so they know to bake a little longer
i'm def sending not for labour but to lift your heart and spirits some
with all the changes our bodies, and emotions, go thru, plus dealing with external stresses, it's quite normal to go overboard when we're worried - i've been there myself at times! not quite the same as your situation, mind you, but in my own way.. you're not alone chickadee! i've every faith as well that your baba's will stay nice and cozy in their mama at least to 36wks! they're fighters, those ones
