Yes my doctor was really good and i had to leave my number for the midwife to call me asap to make an initial appointment and she said yes it would be ok for me to have an earlier scan so really happy about that

Not looking forward to the first visit with the midwife, they want to know what colour pants your wearing lol!

spoke to midwife today and she is calling me tomorrow an early scan date she said i cant have one until im at least 7 weeks gone as they wont be able to detect if there is a heartbeat until then but im just happy i dont have to wait 12 weeks.... phew it will be the longest 3 week wait ever tho

Hi,
I got my BFP today (my AF is due tomorrow) at CD28, although I ovulated late, so have no idea "how pregnant" i am, clearblue says 1-2.

Am having very bad "period" pains, is this normal ?

can i ask what is 4 + 2 - i read it a lot and not sure how it works ?

Got my fuirst midwife appt on the 18th Feb so just sitting tight with legs crosssed praying that my bean sticks! every day is like a lifetime LoL! not nausea but so tired, went to bed at 8.30 last night lol, and having cramps too like Af is due ( it should be tomorrow) but im hoping she keeps away and these cramps "normal"

ahh have you? your really lucky to get a scan that early. I have spoken to my midwife today saying that it is not the policy of the hospital that i am registered with to give an early scan (before 12 weeks) until i have had three mcs!! i am so annoyed about this, is one miscarriage not enough!!?

Unless i am bleeding and in pain they said they wont give me one until 12 weeks, so i now have to wait until my 12 week scan and the last one i had of them was when i mc the first time and the baby stopped growing at 8 weeks so i am so afraid of this happening again

I hope everything goes well with your scan you will have to keep us updated good luck and hope you have a H&H 9 months!

errrm ive been feeling tired and sometimes a little sick but havent been sick thankfully (yet)! no pain as yet except when i cough or sneeze i get a funny pain in my ovaries its weird lol!

How about you? ooooo im really excited for you please let me know about the scan

me too i had a miscarriage in August last year and my doc said it would be fine to have an early scan. but then when my midwife called today she said not. i think im going to call my doctor again and see if she can book me in.

im 4.5 weeks pregnant today and have been getting a little light brown discharge. i wouldnt be worried but i had this on my last pregnancy at the beginning was told by the docs etc that it is fine and normal and it went away after a few days. im worried that it may havehad something to do with my last mc at 12 weeks? i just dont know whether to wait until Fri to talk to my Midwife or make another appointment with my doc?? what do you think?
