Hi everyone me and OH have been ttc for 3 years we found out over a year and half again that I've got PCOS and they put me on clomid for 6 months and it don't work then they put me on menopur/pregnol for 3 months and thay didn't work either so now my las chance is IVF but my gyno said that he wasn't gonna refer me straight away coz I'm slightly over the weight the NHS require u to be and he doesn't want me to go and get told to go and meet there requirements and have to wait for months for another appointment. I've been losin weight now for the last month or so and I'm about 7kg off wot I need to be, but I'm scared wot if I'm not doin enough and they need more? Wot if this doesn't work?

Its understandable (and normal) to feel the way you do. Preparing yourself for the treatment is hard enough without having to lose weight first. When we had our first FS appointment and they told us how much we would need to lose to get treatment I had a complete meltdown thinking it would take so long. But we have really set about it and just over two months I'm about there and DP has one stone left to lose (he had to lose 5).

Try and stay positive, remember what you are doing it for as I dont think there will ever be a better reason to lose weight. IVF is a daunting process but the chances of success are good really and thats what you have to hold on to.

:hugs:
