Im starting Agnus Castus

Ah well, my period started today (well, it's startING). Looks like another month for me. Still, it's definitely had a positive impact on my pms.

I thought this was interesting ladies.. Im going to try this next month.. if the witch visits me..

I took two a day (rather than 4) for 20 days (till ov) and I swear I've never experienced so little discomfort from pms. It has been like a miracle cure for me. Plus, I ov'd on cd20. I didn't ovulate the previous month.

Hi Girls,

I got agnus castus from Boots, they are made by Kira but the instructions are one a day is anyone else taking these as opposed to the ones from holland and barrett?

I am thinking about taking them as i have irregular periods so am hoping that these will bring forward ovulation... last cycle i ovd CD23 of a 36 day cycle.

I'm still a bit worried about taking them though in case they make a bad situation worse... does anyone have any words of wisdom for me? Can they make things worse?

I've got these from Boots too. Planning to take one a day till I ov then stop until I either get my :bfp: or :witch: arrives. I doubt they can make things worse as they are only a herbal supp, but have a chat with your doc if you're worried. Good luck.

The agnus castus says not to be taken when pregnant so i have taken that to mean it's ok for me to take up until ov so i have started taking them from CD1.. hmm wonder its them that's making me sleepy then :dohh:

I aslo started on the B50 complex from holland and barrett, one a day but they do say not to be taken if trying to conceive... anyone else noticed this or have any thoughts on it?

Never noticed that on the Holland and Barret bottle. I am taking the exact same as you. Don't know what to think but last month my LP was lengthened by 1 day so that can only be a good thing I think.

Sorry folks i stand corrected, the b50 does not say not to be taken whilst ttc, I think i read that on another agnus castus type vitamin in boots  all these vitamins and supplements are enough to make your head spin!
