anyone else get a weird smell down below around ovulation after ???
its really starting to annoy me i feel dirty but i shower daily and spay perfume on my trousers to hide it

Thursday ive been to the doc and i dont have BV she thinks i have a problem with my bladder so she is sending me to the bladder expert in the women's hospital where i had the fertility tests done last year,she is also going to send a letter late August if i dont get pregnant by then to have another look at me and get a 2nd opinion my doc rules!!

What kind of smell? When we started ttc, (tmi) i used to get a 'fishy' smell, mainly after ovulation, in the end i went to the doctors in case it was Bacterial Vaginosis (BV), he put me on anti biotics and the smell went, so i'm guessing it was bv.

prehaps go to the doctors to get it checked out. I do not think you shuld get smells that you use perfume to cover up. xxx

i thought it might be from the mixture coz its only the day after the night before never any other time so i dont think its an infection it is kinda fishy

seamen sometimes smells the day after if you know what i mean - it could be that. though for me it has never smelt so bad that i thought people might smell it, just when I go to loo.....

Funny you say this because I could smell something the next day just before ovulation and cd14 and cd16 it had gone and TMI I didnt have any spilliage if you know what I mean on them days-I even asked OH had he actually deposited(Tmi) because there was nothing at all the day after. Normally its leaking out the next day.

take a pregnancy test. i had a "weird" smell and discharge, although i didnt spray anything on me, because it wasn't that stiff but anyways, i was pregnant and had BV

I reckon its his semen more than anything, it can smell nasty the next day. So its him not you haha. Dont worry I always feel horrible for about 2 days after sex.

It is caused by an imbalance of the bacterial levels in your vagina and isn't something you have "caught". A few pills will fix you up it that is the case!

i couldnt be pregnant im only on CD12 im definitely ovulating

I didnt know this myself, mine went on its own after a few days

I would suggest going to your gynecologist so they can do some tests. You know what is normal for your body and if this is not than go to the dr to get it checked out. That strong of an odor is not normal and is most likely a sign that something is wrong. I hope everything works out for the best for you!

SAME HERE HON, THERE WAS A THREAD GOING ON THIS SORT OF THING AND LOTS OF LADIES AGREE THIS IS SOMETHING THEY GET AFTER HAVING SEX! I DONT THINK THERES ANYTHING WRONG HON I THINK THIS IS PERFECTLY NORMAL AND THE SPRAYING OF PERFUME ON YOUR PANTS IS PROBABLY MORE THAT YOU THINK YOU SMELL TO OTHER PEOPLE THAN YOU ACTUALLY DO......AM TALKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE HERE......SEMEN DOES SMELL SAY THE MORNING AFTER CAUSE IT SORT OF GOES OFF AND SETS/JELLIFIES SO AFTER IT CLUMPS TOGETHER IT GIVES OFF QUITE A STRONG ODOUR WHICH YOU THINK EVERYONE CAN SMELL WHEN IN REALITY THEY CANT!

can this effect fertility if its not treated?

and to the regards to those who say "dont worry about it..its normal"...i think to anyone that is smelling something out of the ordinary, should be getting checked regardless just in case and rule out anything. then it would be safe to say its just normal. it could be the start of something so better be safe then sorry.
