I'm team.... And a placenta question.

Pink!!! I'm so happy!!! She was an absolute monkey during the scan though. I had to walk around, dance and pee to try and get her to move. In the end chocolate worked lolol! Show was also a massive fidget.

They did say my placentas low though. It's not a previa and it will probably move, I just need an extra scan at 32 weeks which I was having anyway. Has anyone else had this??? The sonographers said it was a normal variant and not to panic. Still...argh!!!!

Congratulations on your little miss!

As for the placenta I had this the first 2 times, even this time it is only 3cms away from o/s. Chances are it'll move

Had a low lying placenta with dd1, it was abutting the o/s, was rescanned at 34 weeks and it had moved up so was able to have a natural birth.

I have exactly the same as you have except, I have to have a re scan at the end of the month to re check before it gets checked again at 32 weeks.

I never had this with DS but I do with LO, was reassured it should move up before 32 weeks.

Had my scan about a week ago, same as you! Low placenta, re scan at 32 weeks, hoping it's moved ladies on here have really reassured me, so I wouldn't worry about it for now

They didn't seem too concerned. They said it was a normal variant and wasn't a previa and that it was probably because the bottom bit of the uterus isn't properly formed yet and when it does form and stretch the placenta should move up. I am just a natural born worrier lol xxxx

I think most of us are natural born worries

But don't worry at all. If the sonographer didn't seem to concerned, then I wouldn't worry at all.

Hi, no experience with the low placenta, waiting to have my 20 week scan to see how everything is But congrats on your little girl, I am team pink too It was a mess trying to find out the gender, it took the lady about 15 minutes or so to find out because my little lady was being so stubborn. I went outside and ran, drank a ton of OJ prior to and during the US. lol

I just had my scan this morning to check on my low lying placenta. At 20 weeks it was 9mm from OS and today it was 44mm away. Plenty far away now and I'm only 28 weeks yet. I bet yours moves up.

I had partial placenta previa with all my pregnancys (3) and I they all moved on up
