I would say the implant as it causes less weight gain. the depot is notorious for weight gain.
Also the depot causes bone thinning over time if you use it continuously.
You could have the implant removed if there are side effects; the depot is stuck in you for 12 weeks!!

don't go near the depo if you think you might want more children. contrary to medical opinion it seems that fertility doesn't return when the current injection wears off. it can and does cause a lot of people long term fertility problems.

I have just come off the depo after 2 1/2 years. I knew it caused some weight gain but i have put 3 stone on since first having it. It stopped my periods pretty much straight away so that was nice. The only reason I used this in the first place is I have 2 children and don't want anymore x
