Implantation bleeding but then NO bfp, iminology issues, or implantation failure?!?

Hi ladies,

I hope it's ok to post here, we have been TTC for 18 months which I know may not count as long term (it feels long enough to me :-( ) so apologies if this is not in the correct area.

Four times in the last 18 months I have experienced what I think is implantation bleeding. I only have it on months we can bd, as my partner works away some months. I have never had bleeding/spotting before, ever.

I am wondering if anybody else has experienced this? I think it may be failed implantation.

Last time I had it I took asparin and it lasted long, right up until AF arrived. Does anybody know how to investigate immune issues?

Many thanks in advance for you suggestions ladies.

Sorry, no idea about immunology investigations but at what point during your cycle are you having "implantation bleeding"?

On months when we can bd (other half works away a lot) around 5-8 days post ovulation, never at any other point, and have never bled mid cycle over before. I'm sure it's not from sex injuries, and it is exactly as people describe, very faint pink spotting.

Really getting me down as I'm so sure it's failed implantation but I just don't know how they can treat this.

Trying to think maybe it is a fertilised egg with bad genetics that then won't properly implant. Hopefully next time it will.

Thanks for your comment :-)

I hate to say it, but I have had this issue as well and I have to say that I put it down to sex. There are times when it is slightly heavier than spotting, but there are others when its just pink when I wipe. You could be right and it could be IB, but I personally wouldn't discount the BDing either.

Yes, the thing is its never after sex. I wish it was, as then I would stop worrying it was issues with immunology.

I don't honk there is any way to find out without paying £1,000's for tests, or the same thing repeating over an over again.

Just wish I could find my answer :-(
