Hi girls!
This is an interesting question for a completely silly reason.
How long after fertilisation does the egg implant (and get nutrients from the mother)? I've read anything from 4 to 7 days. Does anyone have a reliable answer?
My silly reason: If I was to become pregnant now it would be bad timing but both DH and I would be over the moon. So naturally I would want to do the best for my baby from day one. The thing that seems to be most important in early pregnancy (apart from FA which I take anyway) seems to be not to drink any alcohol. So normally I just don't drink in the second half of my cycle, just on the off-chance that there could be a beanie. I don't drink much anyway so don't mind this normally. Except this week is new years eve... I'll be 3 days after a possible fertilisation but the chances that I'm pregnant are VERY slim. But still I'm unsure whether I should just stay off the booze.
