Implantation Question...

Hi Ladies,

Do you know when implantation is suppose to happen? im currently 1dpo.

Between 6 and 12 days past ovulation. No earlier than 6 days, and there's a very scientific reason why: implantation cannot occur until the zygote becomes a blastocyst and reaches the womb (no earlier than 5DPO) and implantation typically occurs after the blastocyst has been in the uterus for 24 hours.

At 1 DPO, the potential baby would more than likely still be a zygote.

While I've heard anecdotally that it can be between 4-14 dpo, I agree with ChangeChoices. It's unlikely that implantation could occur before 6 dpo; it takes time for the egg to travel.

i think i may have experienced implantation bleeding yesterday..i went to the restroom and when i wiped i noticed specks of what appeared to be old blood..it was just that one time,,haven't seen anything since then..and i'm awfully tired today as well....
