In Agony - Don't know how much more I can take :(

peppermint tea helps me with indigestion and those rennie tablets. I also get bad bad backache this pregnancy and hot water bottle gives me some comfort x

Peppermint tea and a hot water bottle are my remidies to. If a warm bath helped, a hot water bottle might ease any pain to. Hope your feeling better xx

Thanks everyone.

I honestly thought I was going to be up all night with it when I wrote the post, but at about 1.30am I started to doze and the majority of the pain seemed to pass.

It's made me seriously reconsider my pain threshold, and if it turns out my labour is a long one then I think I will opt for some pethidine so I can rest. If I knew when it was going to end I think I'd have handled it a lot better but of course you have no idea.

I have a midwife appointment on Tuesday, so I doubt I'll get another appointment before then unless I opt for an emergency one, which I don't think I need. I'll mention it for sure, I'm still in pain all the time but it's extremely mild and the worse bits come and go.

I actually thought marmite maybe the trigger since I started going mad for it this week, but haven't eaten it in 48 hours now and it's made no difference.

I'm stocking up on tums, peppermint capsels and gaviscon today and really just hoping for the best. Another night like that and I will book an emergency appointment :(

Acid reflux sounds quite likely but Ill see what the doctors and MWs say.

Sounds like you need a doctor, it could be renal....tends to give back pain and vomiting, sweats etc.....Hope you get better.
