In credit when switching gas supplier?

I was overestimated by Scottish Gas so when I got my final statement (I switched supplier) I am £107 in credit. How do I get this back? Do they do it automatically?

If you pay by DD I would expect so...

Not always the case, you need to ring them & ask for it back. They send you a cheque back. You will need to give a final meter reading unless you already have.
