Yeah pushing is a huuuuuge relief

I mean I just don't understand why anyone would choose to have a c-section.. my mom had an emergency c-section with me and she still has bladder problems to this day.
Well when I was lying there screaming at 10 cm and my baby wouldnt come out as he was stuck , his shoulders felt like they where about to bust out my bum I had to sign that formIt was very traumatic and I went through hell. Its the last option in my hospital and they called in docs as both me and baby where to stressed. If c section hadnt of been offered I dare to think what could have happened.
I dont have bladder probs or any from it, perhaps I was just lucky not to but I did take a long time to recover. I am just trying to say when there isnt an option left and your screaming and your other half is in tears and they reccomemnd it as an absolute last but must then what you going to do?? I also was over due and possible pre eclempsia thats why I was induced to. So much for my nice natural birth plan. I was traumatised for months and couldnt even talk about it for crying.

Thats a totally different situationThat was the safest way to get baby out.
thats a complete mythI've heard women say they want a c-section because they dont want their vagina to be loose.
It doesn't hurt as much as you'd think. The pushing is a kinda 'nice' feeling anyway and you feel relief when you push.
I think it should be completely up to the mother how she decides she wants to give birth, her body, her choice? You shouldnt judge people who want to have a c section as there are personal reasons why they would opt for this. Im going to try and go natural, im really squemish and the thought of being cut open makes me feel sick lol! but i dont think that people who go for c sections are wrong, if thats what makes them feel comfortable then leave them alone!!![]()
I agree its best to not judge other mummys choices...its just the start of a looonnngg 18+ years of being judged and made to feel like a bad mother for what WE feel is right for US...and it isn't really anyone elses business!

In my opinion I think elective cesarians when they aren't medically necessary are rediculous.
I mean for gods sake man up to childbirth ladies!! Whats the point in having babies if you aren't going to give birth to them!? Its all part and parcel of being pregnant. There are women who would give their right arm to have a natural birth but can't!
I think its incredibly vain that women chose cesarians over natural births when there really is no need.
What would you have done x amount of years ago when there was no other option than to push the baby out?!
Really!!! These women need to get a grip and embrace childbirth for whatever it may bring.

saying that you are not judging isnt true, by saying that ladies who opt for a c-section are selfish and wrong is judging! i think we all get enough of that from other people who give their 'opinions' on us being young mums and for us to start on each other over things that are irrelavent to anyone but the mother who is giving birth is silly! People have bad experiences whether they give bith naturally or by c section and if it was really such a terrible thing then it would not be offered! Doctors know what they are doing! I think its sad when a women would love to give birth naturally but cant and I hope i'm not one of them but its 100% mothers choice.
