In shock!!!!

I am in shock! Just got the results of my bloods and its a ... mind you I did do like 6 tests over the weekend...BUT as I was doing IUI and had used HCG as a trigger and for a boost after procedure, I kinda thought it could just be HCG just left over.

Anyway.... the reason I am in shock (crying here) is because I am 38...this is my first and I have had to cope with a lot over the years. I lost 1 and a half of my ovaries to tumours, I have an ovarian reserve (AMH) of 1.6, I had a fibroid removed from my uterus last year and had an internal bleed and required a double transfusion. After this my Fertility Dr sent hubby and I for tests and it was discovered that I don't always ovulate, that my estrogen didn't get very high, that hubby had a low count and that he had XYY syndrome. I was made redundant in October and started a brand new job immediately - we decided to wait until first month of new year to start and I went for my first IUI on Feb 1st.

Anyway...am scared to pieces..... but omg... I cannot believe a in my first round of IUI.

Thanks girls. It's all so scary and exciting at same time! I go for blood tests twice a week until 7 weeks to make sure levels are raising and then the fertility clinic pass me on to my obstetrician (whom is also my fertility Dr and gynae) so already love her to pieces!
