Income Support

I am on income support as i was dismissed from work for getting pregnant and not telling them i was trying for a baby ( long story ) OH lives with his parents but stayes with me 2-3 nights a week but visits me and his son every day.

He did think about moving in but because of his shifts and LO still not sleeping i have told him to stay at home (he makes 2ft long industrial blades going to work sleepy is dangerous)

Next door neighbour has contacted benefits and told them he stays every night but he doesnt i have been called for a meeting to discuss him. Where do i stand and how on earth will i cope if they stop my money? OH is paying his parents rent and debts from his x-wife so wouldnt be able to help out at the mo.

Anyone been in the same situation?

if he genuinely is only staying 2-3 nights who s to say otherwise? wouldnt they have to prove he stayed more nights first? not sure tbh buy they shouldnt be able to punish you for nothing

with regards to being sacked for being pregnant, i would be taking that one to an employment tribunal hun x

Ye i know about the sacking im trying to sort it! Yes he genuinly only stayes that much. We tried it last year whilst LO was 4 months old and OH ended up with stitches from a nasty cut because he was so tired at work. Once LO is sleeping more he will move in but i told Income Support this when i applied.

If he doesn't live with you then you've got nothing to worry about- is the appointment with compliance? Are they coming to your house or are you just going into the office? Either way, just tell them the truth. They get a lot of malicious reports that turn out to be false xx
