Induced day today!! plus any1 else getting worrying thoughts? * UPDATE *

I'm just waiting for the hospital to phone me back to give me a time to go in as they are sorting out beds! I didn't want it to come to me being induced and was hoping I'd start off naturally but after 2 failed sweeps and this being my 12th day over due I suppose it's time to get things going! I'l keep updating this if anyone is interested n let u know how I'm getting on! I just keep worrying that something is going to be wrong with my baby though and I don't know why! Is that normal? Anyone else feeling like that? X

didnt they give you a time when you booked the induction?
after your sweeps did you have any twinges or bloody shows?
why do you think something will be wrong sometimes its just because they baby is ever so comfy in there than out here lol

No they didn't give a time they just said your booked in for that day but have to phone up at 8 in the morning for a time to go in!
After my first sweep I bled a bit of red blood and that was it and after my second some old blood came away from the first and again that was it :-/ so frustrating!
I don't know why I'm worrying, I've had a shit time the past two years and things are just starting to come together, I'm going this alone too as father doesn't want to know so it's making me more protective over my baby I think, my mom is my birthing partner so I'm not giving birth alone but my whole situation has just made me more aware of things and I'm just worried that he will have something wrong with him or he won't survive after, it's awful! :'( x

Just rang the hospital and got to go in at 2pm :-/ can't believe the day has come! Aggh! Nervous, excited, scared, overwhelmed is just a few of the emotions I'm feeling right now, my heart won't stop beating ten to the dozen! Right off for a shower and to get myself ready,,,,,,,,

You will do wonderful!!! I'm being induced wed morning at 5am and am ever so nervous, I can totally empathize with yoU!! But you will do amazing and your LO will be here before you know it!

***Update*** Hi guys, well I got into hospital about 2ish and my bed hadn't even been made so I was told to go the coffee shop and wait down there for a bit so I had a toastie and a hot drink then went back up, I had to be put on the monitor for half hour then it was about 4.45 the midwife put the thing up (can't remember what it's called) she said to sit for 20 mins n then I could walk about but if it came out to tell her so that's what I did n yer it did come out so I had to have it pushed back up and after that I just sat for ages in fear it would come back out! Anyway after a while I needed the loo so got up and it's been fine, I've not had any pains but my braxton hicks have been more frequent and for longer and I keep getting a sharp pain on my left side and when I went to the toilet just I have lost a lot of plug!! I've got to have my second thing up 24 hours after the first one so if nothing happens today I should have it done again about 5ish and I think this time it's going to work! I have got a massive feeling I'l go into labour today/tonight! Fingers crossed for me everyone! Will update later xxx
