Induction cancelled due to lack of beds at 42 weeks!

Aww this happened to me too Hun! I was due to be induced at 42 weeks and got to hospital with all my stuff only to be kept waiting in a side room for hours and then sent home again. In my case they had no beds on antenatal ward same as for you because labour ward was full and they had ladies who had been induced and were contracting, on diamorphine waiting to go up to labour ward when rooms were free.

They have to be so careful with babies and if they took someone in and induced them and then couldn't look after them, if anything happened they would never forgive themselves and nor would you.

As long as you are carefully monitored you will be fine but I do know how hard and upsetting the wait is. It won't be long now and you'll have your baby!

Good luck xxx

Awww bless you hun! Have you had any luck today with getting in for induction? xxx

Hoping the silence means u were induced. Looking forward to the update x
