Induction with cervidil?

I am going in a couple of days to start the induction process at night with cervidil. I'm 80% effaced, about 1-1.5cm dilated right now. Anyone have experiences with this kind of induction? I'm not sure if they still break my water or use pitocin as well, or if it's just the cervidil?

We tried cervadil with my induction of my second son and it did not work for me other than having contractions all night. I also went in with my cervix as tightly closed as can be so I am sure that didn`t help at all.

With your cervix doing something on its own it seems like it will work for you. They will do just the cervadil unless it seems you need more help gettiing there but I have heard of women getting it put in and then have their baby 6 hours later! Hope it is that simple for you! GL!

they used cervadil on me and i woke up with arful contractions. they ended up breaking my water and using pitocin as well.
