Alfie has started on infacol today and he's been taking it really well.
He's a very frequent feeder though, he generally goes 1.5 - 2 hours between feeds but feeds constantly on a growth spurt.
Am I fine to give him the infacol before every single feed or is that overdoing it? Especially when he's on a growth spurt what do I do then? Would I still give it before every feed?

Thanks

Was going to post the same thing! The bottle says before every feed but I've got a frequent feeder too. I'll keep an eye on this post to see what other ladies say...

Earl was the same and I would give it before every feed but basically I'd only ever give a half dose (or a smaller dose that the maximum they say on the bottle) so that if he did have it a lot during the day, it still wouldn't add up to a lot. It's the same rule I still use with Calpol etc too.

Infacol is not absorbed into the blood stream so it doesn't matter how often you use it. Useit before every feed. It can take a week or 2 to really start working.

I asked the pharmacist this and she said you can't overdose on it xx

I was wondering this too! Good to know you can't take too much

Infacol saved our sanity; use it before every feed xxxx
