[Info] Medical pain relief for labour....

Thanks for that Carley.

I'm still opting for an epidural. From what i've heard, it's fantastic, so i'm sticking to my word, even though the procedure does sound daunting..

I've seen the procedure done on my mum, and it didn't look as bad as it sounds. So hopefully, i'll be having an epidural.

The worst thign about an epidural is that if they miss first time which they can do, especially if you have PE or any swelling. It makes your legs jerk and you twinge in the funniest ways, it burns too if they miss, feels funny. Certainly wouldn't be my first choice. the first time I had a numb patch across my lower back for about 8 weeks and the second time I had numb heels, still have 18 months later.
