Input on name....

Hi gang! Im not sure if there is particularly a name forum...Im trying to get input on the name Alec (as a nickname for Alexander)....Particularly Alec with the "c" as opposed to the "x"! How do you all see this name, what thoughts on it? Honest answers please!
