Inserting sperm manually

My partner and i started ttc again a couple months ago with no luck so far, i feel a little awkward about asking this question but this cycle my boyfriend has found ejaculation a little diffucult most likely due to a new medication hes taking so iv had to help him finish by hand (sorry tmi) so right after he ejaculates i scoop it up and insert it by hand, is there any chance of this working? Im not really sure what to do we want a baby so badly

I'm not sure how well it would work literally by hand, but could try getting it in a cup and using a syringe. We did AI with a donor and had the goods in a cup and used a syringe. Worked very well.

I don't think you'll have too much luck with your hand, but you can buy turkey basters or a syringe. I think I saw someone post a while back about buying the tool they use to inseminate cows (or maybe horses). But if you can get it right up there, it's like an at home IUI.

Buy the soft cup, it's like 3 $ at Walmart when he's done you can insert it and just leave it there for about 6 hours, i would suggest to move it around every couple of hours.

Thanks for the replies ladies, we managed to do it the old fashioned way last night so hopefully hes back to normal if not i might try the soft cup idea
