Inserts and boosters

Inserts are thicker, they can be put into a nappy alone. Boosters are just that, they are there to "boost" a nappy that already has an insert in it.

Inserts are usually what you use in pocket nappies as the absorbent bit, so they absorb as much as a nappy. A booster is much smaller, and you just add it to the insert or nappy to make it last longer
