Inspiration for a business name

hi everyone,

I'm not having much luck job hunting so I'm biting the bullet and starting my own consultancy business. Problem is, I don't know what to call myself (I know, hardly a large issue but it's important to me lol....going to make my fortune so needs to be good lol )

Short rundown.

My name is Aimee Fleming (my initials are ALF - Alien Life Form - so can't use that! lol)
It's going to be a Market Research/tourism based consultancy
I'm going to be a sole trader, based in the east of England (we're moving in the next couple of months hence the job hunt)
I love dogs, music and eating Italian food....nom nom nom!
I'm 26, married, 1 little boy (currently asleep! )
I love history and heritage (hence the career choice) and I also love the sea - my hubb and I met SCUBA diving.

I think that gives you an idea of my personality. Go Nuts ladies, all ideas gratefully received

I'm guessing you have discarded Fleming Consultancy or AF Consultancy?

Good luck . . .have you considered trying to do some lecturing maybe on your chosen subjet as a guest lecturer? Could bring in a few extra pennies.

Thanks Kte - I don't like 'Fleming' as a business name - it just sounds a bit gross lol. 'AF' has too many connotations lol I blame BnB for that one! lol

Oooh that would be good actually. My eventual aim is to be a lecturer so that would be fab....may offer my services to the local Uni's when we move lol. Thanks for that.....never would have thought of that

ALF reminds me of that old 80's TV programme.

No probs, I was looking at the consultants busniess cards that we get here which made me mention it but they all tend to use their initials too.

lmao, 'ALF'...We used to watch that way back in the day!! I would love my initials to spell something like that (my Auntie's initial were R.I.P which created an issue when my mum wanted to get a memorial tatoo in her memory!! )

erm, as for business name, I am rubbish at things like this so I wont make any suggestions! Although, I did notice you said "hardly a large issue"...just wanted to say that the name is pretty important coz it has to be memorable, and relevant to the service you offer. If you choose a long name then it's good if it can be shortened to intials or something for logo/business card purposes (ie, you want something that is instantly recognisable at a glance) good luck hun. Hope someone can come up with something really good for you

I love mythology so iv done some research and i think any of these could apply to your business or are good ways to represent your business:
Greek:
Metis - Goddess of good counsel, advise, planning, cunning, and wisdom.
Aletheia - spirit of truthfullness and sincerity
Eucleia - spirit of glory, good repute and trust
Euthenia - spirit of prosperity & abundance
Roman:
Aequitas - goddess of fair trad and honest merchants
Dei Lucrii - early gods of profit, commerce and trade
Mercury - later god of profit, treachary, commerce and trade
so from those you could maybe use
