Intending the Gender of your Child

Would love some thoughts on this. I regularly practice intention, but my husband took it to another level when he told me we would be having a girl. He even did this a year before she was born. He said would you have another if we have a girl. I laughed, but agreed. a few months later while still nursing our son, I became pregnant. I hadn't gotten around to redoing my IUD. At our ultrasound they announced it was a girl. Now we all know he couldnt have actually done that, right? Was this luck, or did we both intend our daughter?

^ This just because something can't be explained doesn't mean it doesn't exist and at worst it doesn't hurt to believe in greater things.

Lol, this! ^^^ he had a 50% chance of getting it right so not that mind blowing really. Still a cool idea but I'm a firm believer in science for these kinds things. Besides, there'd be no such thing as gender disappointment if you could just mentally intend!

I agree with this.

It's fun to play, though. My husband always jokes and says, "I wanted a boy the first time, so I gave you a boy. Then I wanted a girl, so I gave you a girl. I knew what I was doing". But, of course, it's all in good fun.

Um, exactly what you just said, a coincidence. Sorry, not a believer of that. Someone makes the decision on what gender we get and its definitely someone much more powerful than your mind.
