The information on the page about the "angle of the dangle" is the "nub theory". You need a side profile shot that is clear with an image of the "nub". Otherwise gender determination is impossible at that age because the genitals look very, very similar. The real visible difference is the angle at which protrudes... but the shot really has to be just right. I would say that very few techs are skilled at (or aware of) this, and most aren't going to bother with assessing it for you in the middle of your NT scan when they have so many other things to be looking for. However, if they print off a really good picture, you have a great chance of getting a fairly accurate guess off the nub. Best of luck to you at your upcoming scan!
