internal scan help

You could always call to clarify. With my scan at 6 weeks, they did want me to have a full bladder--that was because they first did the external ultrasound. I'd call though to ask.

Out of curiosity was that 6week from lmp or ov and if lmp what was the scan like did u see a heartbeat? I'm not sure what to expect although I know babys only gonna be small.

It was both, iirc...I ovulated about two weeks after my lmp. It was actually at 5w6d, and we did see a heartbeat but the doctor was concerned because it was only 95, and I was also bleeding/cramping. I had the scan done in an ER with my son...that's why I went--b/c of the cramping. He's two now, and an amazing little boy! But, yeah...I'd go with a full bladder!

I had mine at 6+1 based on lmp. It was 2 little blobs the top one was baby the bottom one a yolk sac. The baby blob was pulsing it was amazing and my favourite scan even though we have seen baby's face at 20 weeks. I also had one at 8+3, I went with a full bladder and she was able to see with the abdominal one so I didn't need an internal. Interestingly I didn't get told a heart beat rate until the midwife measured it at 16 weeks. They didn't measure it at any scan.
