Internal Ultrasound at 6w4d

I have my first ultrasound tomorrow afternoon. I will be 6w4d. Just wanted to see how many of you seen heartbeat at this point. Ive seen alot of ppl posting that they seen baby and heartbeat and some did not see much of anything. After miscarrying in Novemeber, I am just a nervous wreck!! Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to share their experience with me!

If you're measuring 6+4 you should definitely see the hb, esp. with an internal scan. If you're measuring a little early you may not see it yet. I was measuring 6+4 at my last ultrasound, when I thought I was 7+3. We saw the hb abdominally.

Thanks! I am sure of my LMP dates but I know ppl can ovulate early/late and things like that so if it is different, shouldnt be but a few days. I just need to see that everything is good so I can relax a little.

yeah I saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days when I went to the hospital for bleeding was nice and strong. you should be able to see something

if its genuine 6w4d then yep

dont stress tho if you measuring 5 somethign and dont see it ... proably like u said and ov late... this happend to me i was freaking... all is ok

I got an internal scan at 6+5. We saw the heartbeat and a little blob that the doctor said was the baby!

I checked at what I assumed was 5w6d and saw nothing. Went back today at 6w6d and it turns out it was 6w4d (although I am not sure I believe the doctor) and we saw the heartbeat.

I was told that if the hcg is over 10k the heartbeat should be seen but that is incorrect. My HCG was well over 15k when I checked the first time and saw nothing and it was 47k today and beating nicely.

I know that the baby is only gona look like a lil spot but just as long as we see one! LOL...My HCG was almost 23,000 on Tuesday so Im sure it will be double that tomorrow.

I saw a flicker on mine at 6+2. Good luck. I had a miscarriage in November at 10 weeks, so I know how scary it is.

Once you have had a MC, it takes the joy out of future pregnancies by worrying all the time knowing that tomorrow it could all be over. I have 3 children. 14, 11 and 9. I had never had MC until few months ago.

I think you'll be able to see everything. I saw my pumpkin and the 118bpm heartbeat at 6weeks1day good luck

I have seen hb's early with all of my pregnancies but that is not to say that they will. Sometimes they can't see one until after 7 weeks. Make sure they do an internal. Most likely won't see a whole lot on abdominal. Well I never had luck with them. With this pregnancy, the clinic I went to for my 6+6 week one did an abdominal at first. I freaked cuz they didn't really see much and said I may be earlier than I think :O.. I convinced them to do an internal and sure enough, measuring right on track and a HR of 136 bpm

I would say that you will see something and probably a heartbeat. I had a scan at 5+5 and all they could see was the sac measuring bang on my dates but nothing else. So now I'm petrified. I go back on Thursday for another scan. I agree, once you've had a miscarriage, it does take all the joy out. Even if I do see something next week, I think I'll still be a paranoid mess! I remember in my very ignorant pre-TTC days when I didn't understand why people got so upset when they had early miscarriages. Now I know only too well!

I had an external sonogram and saw baby and heartbeat at 6weeks 1 day. But heartbeat was only 102bmp then with my son, but was 157 when I was 8 weeks.

My baby had a heartbeat of 128 bpm at 6+4. Good luck!
