Introduction Thread: Say hi!

Hi I'm Ruth living in West Yorks with my hubby and our little boy, Frankie. I'll be 30 in just under two weeks  and the day after my birthday is my first wedding anniversary :flower: Found out I was expecting 9 days after my wedding :cloud9: and have had the most amazing and extraordinary year of my life this last year.

I love being a mummy, and although I find that many things have worried me and made me stress out I am now beginning to relax and really enjoy motherhood. I find BnB extremely useful!! :hugs:

Ive sort of barged in here without introducing myself so great thread!

Im Sally, just turned 25 and have my 2 little Rugrats. Jamie who is 4 and Chloe who is 3 weeks.
I always said i was never going to have children and now here i am with 2! :haha: Along with my OH Tim i now have my perfect little family! :cloud9:

Heres the 2 beauties that are my world :cloud9:

Hi! I'm Stephanie!! I'm 24 years old, married to my husband Nate, 26, for going on 5 years now...we had our first baby, little Miss Haley in July, she'll be 5 months old tomorrow! I'm not an expert on anything but I breastfed then went to formula, I cosleep, I weaned earlier than most, and Haley and me together have been through thrush and mastitis and she had jaundice, but all the bad has passed! And now my sweet girl has her first 2 teeth!! They came in together yesterday evening!

Nice to meet all of you ladies in a nice environment!! (oo, I should add, I found BnB when I was TTC but was already pregnant on my first month lol)

Hi!
I'm Evelyn and my OH Mark and I have been together for 6 years now. I'm a mum of three beautiful kids, two on earth and one in heaven. I've been through teen pregnancy, single parenthood, returning to school after having my first, placental abruption, loss, emergency c-section where I had to be under general anesthesia, received blood transfusions due to massive bleeding, severe SPD, high blood pressure and I know a decent amount about breastfeeding, as you can see... been doing it for over 11 months now :cloud9: but FF my oldest. I weaned oldest early (doctor advice back then) and weaned later with Kayleigh (she still isn't on the whole 3 meals a day thing). My daughter was concidered a preemie, near 4 weeks early by scheduled c-section.
I've had natural labor, Emegency c-section and scheduled.

Wow... lol I'm done now.

OOh I'm 26 and my OH is 28 next month :)

Hi,
I am a married 37 year old mum to JJ, who is now 6.5 months old. Im a qualified social worker (although I specialise in social work with older people). If you have any questions that relate to social services, then please be assured that I am very down to earth, unflappable and non-judgemental. I am also happy to answer questions about failed inductions, emergency c-sections and placenta previa xx

:hi: I'm Anna, I'm 30. I'm married to Ashley, he's 25. We have been together nearly 7 years and married for 2.5 years. We have our beautiful daughter Kate who is nearly 11 months. She is my absolute world. :cloud9: I joined BnB when TTC Kate.

I suffered from really severe PND but I'm doing much better now. I like to try and offer support to other going through the same.

It's been a battle but worth every minute of it to have my lovely baby.

Ooh I like this thread, hiya I'm emma, I've got a 6 year old called Ben and I've just had another little boy, who will be 4 wks on sunday, he is called Caden. I love this site I'm constantly on it, it has been a real help to me over the past year.

Hi I'm Emelie. I have a little man called Reggie and I'm 23 weeks pregnant with his little brother or sister! I joined back in 2008 when I was pregnant with my first baby (I lost my angel at 11 weeks, I had a mmc) took a further 5 months to concieve Reg.

Had a pretty straightforward pregnancy/labour with Reg. But had a lot of problems afterwards. My milk never came in so had to feed/pump/suplement after every feed in order for him to gain any weight whatsoever. He suffered with severe reflux which meant he barely slept and cried a LOT! He would not sleep in car seat/pram/Moses basket til he was 9 weeks old. Started sleeping through regularly at a year old!!

My pregnancy this time has been ok apart from hyperemesis and a bit of pgp pain that comes and goes.

I'm usually quite opinionated about things I feel strongly about... Both on here and irl! And I appologise if my honesty offends you :flower:

I'm happy to answer any Qs about MMC, reflux, low milk supply, high needs babies, reflux, pregnant with number 2 when LO is under 2, hyperemesis and anything else I may
have forgotten about!

X

Hello!! Im Emma, 31, from Manchester. Mum to James, 12, and Jessica, 5 months. Feel a little old here sometimes...lol

hI I'm Claire, and I have a little girl called Isabelle who is 10 months.
She is such a good and funny baby and I love parenthood. I am 27 and live in Hertfordshire.

Hi I'm Lisa. My little girl is the youngest of 3 and will be three weeks old on Monday. I have a 4 year old boy and 2 1/2 year old girl as well. Just getting used to having a tiny one around again, we had justgot rid of the sleepless nights!! haha!!

I'm 27, my first and only baby is called Isabella and is 7 and a half months old.

I am on the NCT breastfeeding counsellor training course and am clued up about a lot of aspects of breastfeeding. My LO had a tongue tie so I know a little about that. I use cloth and am pretty passionate about it. I've worked with children in some capacity for over 10 years and did a degree in child psychology before training as a teacher. So if you think I might be able to help you at any point, do ask! I'm friendly really, even if I do come across as quite passionate on certain subjects.

I babywear a lot and my style of parenting is best described as AP.

I live on the Devon/Somerset border in South West England.
