hello im Helen, 26 married to my lovely hubby and we have a 9 month old baby girl, Sophie who is our first and last! Sophie is lactose inolorant, has reflux which is getting better and has been a terrible sleeper on and off so we have had to do sleep training with her. Sophie was born by emergency c section as she got stuck!! me & hubby are mad about classic vws and go to lots of places in our campervan. we buy loads at carboots and ebay!! feel free to ask me anything you like im open and honest!!

Hi, I'm Sari, 36, originally from Minnepolis, MN but now live in Huddersfield, UK. I am a qualified beauty therapist, but my real passion is in Science, where I'm doing my final year of a medical biology degree. I hope to do post grad work next year.

My son Elijah is just over 5 months old. He is my first child, probably will be my only one. I had quite bad complications and was diagnosed with an unrelated heart condition after he was born. He is my whole world though and I never thought I could love anything like I love my little guy

I'm Andrea, 32, mummy to my only child Joshua who is almost 2 months old. I live in the East Mids, Notts/Derby area with my hubby. I joined BnB when WTT last year but only spent one month in TTC as we were incredibly lucky and fell pregnant first time.

I don't have any areas of expertise, but I do breastfeed, express and use cloth nappies. I had a straighforward water birth in hospital.

I'm willing to help whenever I can, but I think I seek more advice than I give.

I'm Chele, 30 years old and mummy to Max who's nearly 8.5 months old.

We live in Sheffield with my DH. Max was born nearly 3 weeks early as I was induced with mild pre-eclampsia. I spent most of the last couple of months in day care and was just desperate for that to be over with.
I had an emergency c-section which I blame on the lead midwife as Max's heartrate was dropping as she made me very stressed, when she barged in while my MW was on her break, decided LO was breech and shoved her whole hand inside me with no warning (sorry if that's TMI). After she caused all this havoc, that's when his heartrate dropped. We were (kinda) doing fine before that, but at 3/4cm they wanted him out. Grrrr. Silly cow.

Currently NTNPing with no success for a sibling. I have PCOS and very irregular periods and I don't ovulate every cycle

Max wasn't conceived out of an enamourous evening, but rather scientifically and very matter of fact - "Get in here now and do me, I'm ovulating"

I haven't seen this thread until now!

I'm Sarah, 26 years old, we have a beautiful daughter, Lucy, who is just over 4 months old, she was born by emergency section at term + 7 days weighing a very healthy 10lb 2oz, she had silent reflux from about 3 weeks old, which is now undercontrol with Enfamil AR.

If someone presents me with 'information' I like to know the source of it, so if I ask you where your information is from I'm not being rude I'm just interested. I also do things 'my way' which is taking into consideration the 'guidelines' and then applying them to my situation and doing what is best for Lucy, as long as my baby is healthy, safe and happy I'll carry on doing things this way

'Llo ladies, it's nice to finally be here officially, even though I lurked for a good few weeks before hand! It actually helped in these first few days, so I'm glad I lurked.

My name is Andrea, aged 24, and am a single mother to Elijah. He was an unexpected pregnancy after separating from an abusive relationship. Still in the process of my divorce, and though ex isn't making any claim to Elijah, he's still making the process a pain and drawing it out.

In the end, Elijah has been the light in the darkness I've lived through for the past several years... I feel truly blessed to have my little man with me.

I joined BnB in my first trimester, when I felt so alone in my pregnancy. Was really nice to be able to connect with people who were experiencing the same things I was.

hold your head up hunny, ive been in an abusive relationship, it takes a lot out of you, but it also takes a lot to get out of it. well done and stay strong!
