Iron rich foods

My MW gave me a sheet that tells me foods that are high in iron,

They say a female should be scoring 8 iron points a day, a pregnant woman should be scoring 9 and breast feeding mother should be scoring 11 points.

2 weetabix = 2 and half points
large bowl Cornflakes = 2points
small bowl of ready brek = 1 and half points
1oz all bran = 4 points
1cup of special k = 3 points
1 Farleys Rusk = 3 and half points
1 slice of White bread = half point
1 Kidney = 5points
1oz Black Pudding = 6points
2 large spoons of Deal/Lentils = half point
2 egg sized Potatoes = half point

1 slice of Wholemeal bread
2 large spoons Raisins or Sultanas
1 egg
2 spoons of Baked Beans
1 slice of Corned Beef
1 thin slice (Beef/Pork/Lamb)
1 Chapatti
all = 1point each

Hope this help you, :flower:

I use a cast iron griddle to cook in, I'm clinically anemic permanently, it's being investigated outside of pregnancy.
Raspberry leaf tablets are a great source, there is a Liquid sachet called spa tone which you drink With orange juice that's good and a Bottle of medicine called ferrograd, these dont have the same effects as iron tablets. (I can't take iron tablets they make me Ill)

Incidentally ive been told by a specialist that spinach although rich in iron is not a good source as it actually attracts and drain supplies of iron in your blood
