Irregular Cycle Questions

I have a couple questions on how to predict my ovulation.

I used OPT tests last month and one was positive on the 24th. No luck, though. I'm also not entirely sure it was correct because I saw some people on here saying it can be positive multiple times a month?

I started spotting on November 3rd, regular flow Nov. 4th, period completely stopped on Nov. 7th - 8th, and then started again much heavier (with serious cramping) on Nov. 9th. Hasn't stopped yet, but it probably will in 2 days. This is a typical period for me (I've been to doctors about it, they can't find anything and suggest I have adenomyosis). Because of how odd my cycle is, I'm not sure which day I should count as my start date?

I think I have somewhere around a 28 to 30 day cycle, but it varies and I'm not sure.

With that in mind, when would you recommend using OPT tests again? The online calculators I checked (using Nov. 3rd as start date) said to start checking on November 14th.

You could try charting your basal body temperature. It won't tell when you're going to ovulate but will tell you if you have so you can start to pick up a pattern after 2-3 month.
