Irregular cycles..When do I test??

My cycle has been all over the place in the last 16 months, the shortest one at 29 days and the longest at 50. However, it typically comes between 32-37. My husband and I have been TTC since May. Today is day 39. How long should I wait to test? Should I be concerned that my cycle is so irregular? It's hard to wait to test because my period symptoms line up with early pregnancy symptoms!

Yes, I think you should be a bit concerned that your cycles are irregular.

When did you O? I say test 14 dpo. If it is BFN then test a couple days after until AF or BFP.

Since you are on CD 39 I say goi ahead and test if you have O'd around 14 days ago. Good luck!

Hi there I have irregular cycles and u just need to be in tune with ur body to no what's going on. I always ovulate 14 days before AF but cycles can be anything from 32-50 days. With my little boy I always started testing 10dpo if u log onto fertility friend and start traking everything including temps it will help to give u an idea. Good luck! Xx

Thank you for responding, ladies! I really appreciate your feedback. Decided today would be the day to test, but AF showed up. So back to day 1. God's timing is best and we just have to hope for this next month to be the one!

Are you sure you are O'ing sweetie?

How can I be sure? My temp doesn't seem to fluctuate much at all. :/

Have you got a chart that we can see? My cycles are irregular too, I use a combination of ovulation tests & temping to see when I ovulate The ovulation tests, I start really early, so make sure I buy the cheapies as I don't know when it'll happen! My temp helps to confirm I have ovulated as there have been a couple of times where my body has tried to (positive OPKs and everything), but then fails for some reason. It's always handy to know xx

I have started an account on fertility friend to track everything more specifically. I had been using a print-out BBT chart and filling it out. Will continue to pray for God's will to be done, that we may get pregnant soon!! Thank you ladies for your responses and suggestions. Now to clean the house and do laundry...
