irregular periods??

So im curious, I have irregular periods due to pcos.. does anyone know when you should test after a period if ur not sure when the next one would come?? should there be so many days after last period began or something?? im so confused

I have irregular periods too, before my LO they were 45-60 days apart & I've not had one since coming off pill on 9th june yet so I plan to test 3 weeks after until a + or which ever comes first
