Anyone else have irregular periods? We are trying for baby 4 and I havent really a clue when I will have my next period I am using ovulation tests but dint no what's else is good fir tracking when I will ovulation?

Temping is really good to track ovulation, but it only tells you when you've already ovulated, so it's not useful until you've done it for a few cycles and can estimate when you are likely to ovulate, based on your past charts.
If you're having irregular periods, you should see if your doctor or ob/gyn will run blood tests to check your hormone levels.

I have always had irregular periods. Usually between 35-39 days. We conceived all 3 without tracking or temping. Just stopped using protection and decided to see what happened and we were very blessed to fall pregnant quickly each time
We are trc #4 also.
I've always used a period tracker as although it doesn't always get the exact day it is usually only ever 1-2 days out max. After a Gfew cycles it works out your average length and adjusts as you enter more info. It also shows when you're likely to ovulate etc. I've found it really helpful.

Good luck ttc

Me. They were clockwork 28 days between getting off the pill and conceiving DD, but before I got on the pill and ever since I got it back after having her, they're all over the place. Mind you, I've had some other quirks going on as well in the last year or so (breastfeeding and 2 MCs), but still. Same result.

FF doesn't know when to make of my cycles. The few ovulatory cycles I have that don't end in pregnancy all have really late O days (CD 26-35). It expects my O date to be at CD 31 this month, but I've conceived with ovulating on CD 14, 16 and 18 before. It's messed up. I temp reliably every morning and am using OPKs this month as well as checking CM. Plus, we're just going to BD every day as long as we can so we can catch it.

I have had irregular periods since I was 11, but not like now. Early last year I got off BC while my husband was away (military), but I didn't have my first period until July, which was actually when I decided to get back on BC. It was very light and only lasted a couple days. That cycle was 35 days. Then I stopped my BC when DH decided he wanted a baby too. But since then (August) my cycles have been 38 days, 19, 57, 45, and I'm currently on CD 22 this month... The latter two cycles were started with 10mg Provera.

My doctor told me I am not ovulating so this cycle I am also on my first cycle of Clomid. Seems to be working as I'm getting positive OPKs for the first time ever! Fingers crossed!

Also, do you have PCOS? That is what I have. I'm working with my OB closely and I think that's what's helping me. I'm also temping, using OPKs, and saliva ferning. It's really hard to know when you're ovulating (and, in my case, near impossible to ovulate at all) when you have irregular cycles. I wish you the best of luck! And I hope you can find something that works for you!
