I just ordered a large hot apple cinnamon tea and then I teuxed I should probably check first to see if its safe...... Anyone know?! I know a nasty cold and just need a tea....also, which ones are safe and which to avoid ?

Yes. Pretty much any tea you buy pre made or in a bag is fine. There are some to avoid, but they are things I had never even heard of.

My OB said that pretty much every tea is fine, just watch out that you don't consume more than 200mg of caffeine :)

I asked my ob if I should avoid any herbal teas...she said no. So I'd assume it's safe!

Thanks everyone!!! This is great to know now that cold season is here.... Apparently I had a bad sinus infection I was assuming was horrid allergies for the past few months.... It got soooo bad my face started to go numb!! How scary!! I'm now in antibiotics, I hate to take them buy i guess it's much more safe than the infection! I know green tea had great antioxidants to prevent and cute viral infections! I plan to start drinking that daily .... Along with some lemon tea that helps build immunity and fight off sinus infections!!

Sorry for spell checks:/ hope u get the gist! Didn't mean to say "cute" viral infections lol

Lol at cute viral infections!

Anyway, yes, definitely being prescribed an antibiotic for an infection is better than it becoming more serious and requiring even stronger treatment. You were most likely prescribed an antibiotic that's safe anyway.
