Is it AGE or should I test?

I had sex with DH and we definitely had an oops! I didn't worry about it all, however it was two days before ovulation date according to my cycle. I did get what I thought was my AF this month, although it seemed a bit early. It lasted only about three days and was bright red but super far lighter than usual. I am almost 39 years old, maybe my body is just changing. Wondering if I should bother testing or should I just wait and see if anything changes next month. Anyone else ever experience this? Also I am very regular and my AF lasts for 5 days regularly with heavy flow.

No harm in testing! Would ease your mind anyway. Although I've had random light af for no rhyme or reason before and it was just a wacky cycle. Good luck!
