Is it possible to have leftover tissue with hcg below 25?

Hi ladies. My miscarriage was almost six weeks ago and I'm still having light bleeding. My doctor has been following my hcg down and it's almost gone. I was told I should only bleed about two or three weeks, so I'm just concerned and asked that it has been almost six. I worry it might be because my uterus is still trying to get rid of something. They did an internal scan and didn't see anything, I was basically told to just wait it out and everything looked fine. I'm still a bit worried though.

Any thoughts?

I ended up having 3 D&Cs for my first miscarriage. Not sure what my levels were when I had my third, but I know they were super low. They should be able to see anything on an ultrasound however. Best of luck.

I ended up having a D&C after prolonged bleeding and an hcg count that insisted on staying in the quintuple digits. If your count is that low and nothing is showing on the scans, I wouldn't worry too much. If your bleeding becomes heavy again, though, be sure to speak with your doctor about it.
