is it to soon?

hi everyone,
im new to the forum and this is my first thread.

i go in for my next doctors appt. January 5th
and i will be 15w1d
do you think its to early to find out what the gender is?
i just dont think i could wait another month after that
to find out. (appt once a month)

They say the earliest they can find out is 16 weeks, But a lot of people wait till 20 weeks because it's more accurate.

They might be able to tell, but it might be less precise.

I went for my ultrasound around 15 weeks, and I was able to find out the gender.. But, my babys legs were closed lol..So yeah its a good possiblity you can find out the gender.

haha, that's my next appointment too. I'll be 15w 3d then.
but they told me I'd have to wait until I was 20 weeks to find out the gender..

My brother's friend's mother is pregnant with twins and found out at 15 weeks that she was expecting 2 boys.. she wasn't expecting this as generally they say you can't find out until your 19/20 week ultrasound.

I found out that it's a girl at 15+1.

But then I got it confirmed at my 20 weeks scan

ive got my private sexing scan 2mor so 17weeks and then my 20week scan on the 31st to confirm and ive been told if they can not tell the sex or are not over a certain % sure of the sex you get to go back again for free untill they can tell over a certain %

My SIL has just found out she's expecting another little boy at her scan and she was 13+6! I guess anything's possible lol. x

ya i hope i can. my entire family thinks its a boy, so if it is, it wont be such a big surprise, but i still cant wait! thanks for yalls input!

The farther along you are, the more likely it's correct.
My best friend, when her mom was pregnant with her, and she was told it would be a boy early on, and it ended up being a girl :]

lol i know, im just so impatient, who knows maybe i will find out, but if not my next appt will be 4 weeks later, so il 19ish weeks and then maybe i will find out!

You Can Find Out From About 16 Weeks But The Nhs Dont Like To Tell You Before Your Anomly Scan..

I Had Scans At 9,12,15,17 Weeks And They Wouldnt Even Attempt To Look At The Last Two

Found Out It Was A Girl At 20 Weeks But Even Then It Was A 'these Three Lines Would Suggest Its A Girl'

So Will Have It Confirmed At My 4d Scan On 30th December
